Tree pruning is by far the most common tree care service provided. Trees growing in a natural setting such as a forest need very little pruning due to their location. While trees in a landscape setting will require a higher level of care to maintain their structural integrity and aesthetics. Pruning should only be performed by a Certified Arborist that is trained to to understand the trees biology and how the tree will respond to the pruning. Improper pruning can create lasting damage or even shorten the tree's life. Before any tree pruning is performed an objective for the pruning should be established and a pruning plan to achieve that objective should be written.
At Arborology we only allow Certified Arborist to perform tree pruning on our clients trees. This ensures that each and every cut will be made correctly and with great care.
Our Certified Arborist are Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ) so when we are performing tree pruning on your trees we are always aware of the species, age, location and current health of the tree. This allows us to make the pruning cuts needed to reduce risk and improve the trees health.
We follow the ANSI A300 tree pruning standards, which states that the smallest pruning cut possible should be made to achieve the pruning objective. This in turn results in lower cost for the tree pruning services and a healthier tree.
